Dr. Rajesh Takkekar is an established Ophthalmologist from Belgaum with specialist skills in Anterior Segment Diseases. He is the founder of two medical centres in Belgaum in the name of Takkekar Eye Hospital (Gondhali Galli) and Takkekar Eye Clinic (Baher Galli) where comprehensive medical and surgical eye care is provided to patients.

Dr. Takkekar has undergone intensive training in MBBS and MS (Ophthalmalogy) courses with fellowship program in Phacoemulsification.
